2024-06-30 07:36:36 +0000 UTCVideo Thoughts: -didnt realize Grey Goose was a brand I though it was just an expression you use. "Grey GOOSE! What is he DOING??" -don't know what the latches on the aprons are but the chef at my job uses it for his cigarette lighter lmao -gloves are great but sometimes you get too used to gloves feeling "clean" that you might do more tasks than you should with them. If you're using your bare hands you might wash your hands more because they get sticky or feel dirty -basic espresso is just a shot of concentrated steamed beans. From what I understand (which is very little tbh) you can have drip coffee which is watered down coffee bean so not as strong. Or you can have an espresso shot which is stronger because of the pressure and steam condenses it into about a liquid oz. I THINK you have to press it so the steam distributes evenly and there's less bitter flavor?? I am honestly lost to the technicalities of coffee and I very much don't understand coffee snobs. -lol trust me there's regular bitter and then there's absolutely RANCID bitter coffee -yeah once you drained the juices you can't reuse the grounds unless you want your coffee to taste extremely burnt and rancid -if your milk ends up foamy it means you let in too much air while steaming and you don't want your latte/cappuccino to be 90% air. That's why he taps it to get rid of some of the bubbles. It's funny they skipped over how to steam milk because it's literally the hardest part. You need to get the right creamy consistency to do the latte art which requires you to hold the steam wand at a certain angle until you hear a very specific sound. There's plenty of videos on YouTube with top shots of what it looks like when you steam milk but I can send you a video if you want -because espresso shots are super concentrated you do need a lot of milk to get rid of the bitterness. The recipe we use for lattes/ cappuccinos is 1 oz flavor syrup (vanilla, caramel, mocha etc.), shot of espresso, 2 oz of creamer, 4 oz of milk and you steam the milk and creamer together. Ultimately you get one of those little tea cups they were using. Hopefully this answers some of your questions! I have like close to zero training on making coffees but I've learned a bit at work and from YouTube to make up for the lack of training. It's definitely interesting how many variables there are to coffee and it's taste. Never been a coffee person so it all just tastes the same to me 💀💀

2024-06-30 05:05:19 +0000 UTChi anthony, in the espresso machine, the espresso comes out from two ends because one of those cups is one shot. and depending on the size of your coffee, some need only one shot of espresso, while bigger lattes need at least two shots :) (im in no way an expert but i do make my own lattes at home lol)
