Back in episode 2 when we realized he liked her I was actually hoping that they were not going to try to do this overly clever thing where he called her on purpose from the radio station to encourage her. Even if he remembered her I like the idea more of it being a coincidence. I felt like it would be too cheesy on top of all the other reveals. By the time we got to it it's not too bad.. I guess π. I could have done without it though. Still really enjoying the show it makes everything tense when you know what is going to happen but not when it's going to happen anymore especially with the shifting timelines disaster could strike at any moment.

So Sun Jae knew Sol but she didn't remember him because their first two interactions she mistook him for a delivery guy and then the accident most likely caused some head trauma so maybe that explains why she doesn't remember the accident or Sun Jae.

2024-06-01 19:54:10 +0000 UTCI was talking about the actor, not the age in the show. I've been reacting to things for like 4/5 years now, trust me I've heard all of this before! In regards to kdramas, I'm going to literally HAVE to give commentary over the reaction for copyright purposes and because I'm not going to write down my thoughts and share them all at the end of an episode. I am aware that a tv show gives hints and clues throughout the show to put things together by the end. I don't think every small detail is small, I'm noting some things just may not be everything - same as you. I'm sure you may not get every little thing as soon as they show it in early episodes of other shows. That's why "Oooh" and "ahhh" moments are a thing, it's how tv shows and movies are still very entertaining to watch despite tropes and whatnot. Your comment may not be coming from a bad place, but over time I've gotten this comment so much and it's like "hey you talk too much, talk less" or "you didn't really react enough, talk more" "please don't talk over xxx" and it's like??? So yes, I just prioritize what's easy for me in the reaction, what makes me comfortable and hope that those who pull up to watch with me understand that! Also it's lowkey an ongoing 'joke' that I'm always confused when we watch stuff, but sometimes I connect the pieces for other people and offer different perspectives/theories as well.

Idk if you meant the actor who plays sunjae or sunjae the character. In the year 2022, it mentioned how old sunjae was when the report of his death was on the news headlines. It said he died at 34yrs old and im sol also mentioned she is 34yrs old as well. So they are the same age. But in real life the actor for sunjae is actually 33yrs old, he just looks really young. And the actress for im sol is 28yrs old, of which she looks young for her age too. But i mention this because its stuff you keep missing when you are giving commentary over dialogue. When you do that, you miss pieces of information that plays a huge role in context for different situations. They also give hints on who is who, whatβs what, where and why for pretty much everything, but if youβre not paying attention, then you miss them and become more confused. I just say all this to point out that the small details are not as small as you think they are.

I've been wondering since the last episode if Sun Jae called her on purpose or if the radio station just called a random number and it happened to be Im Sol. Now it makes sense why he stayed on the call to try and console her. But there must have been more going on with the company and his band mates that led him to take his own life. Bc obviously Im Sol was happy when he last saw her, so I don't think her accident alone led him down a dark path.
