KDRAMA RECS (+ info) *change of plans*
Added 2024-05-11 18:30:38 +0000 UTCThere will likely be some CHANGES made in regards to the kdrama that we'll be watching, I think I will actually be switching from Pyramid Game to Lovely Runner.
The reason of this is because what I've learned so far is that kdramas are the exact same as kpop music. The attention span and waves come and go. Every month is a new hot kdrama, if you miss it as a reactor, you might as well watch it on your own. From my research, Lovely Runner is the next hot show after Queen of Tears (ended), so I figure it's worth the try for either of them so I can post these on YouTube.
The catch is, kdramas cost $90-100 PER episode, to get edited.
I have to figure out what will be actively watched on YT and what will be here.
The "kdrama" only tier may be swapped out to a $7/8 option for that, or go back to only being on the Gold tier for now since we need to work on gathering funds to release content. There are a few ppl on that tier currently, will update soon.
If that change is made, Pyramid Game, can come after, or the winner of the next poll.
The thing is, polls don't usually translate to what's being watched, so please, actively engage with whatever wins the next poll. So we can keep doing polls, otherwise I may as well choose the shows myself, not much fun in that!

2024-05-12 14:27:50 +0000 UTCYeah, I looked into it as well, speaking of 4x, people who posted the reactions 1-2 months ago are getting 4x the viewership on YT compared to those started within the last 3 weeks. There's a big creator who started posted 4 weeks ago and posted all of them within 3 weeks I think it was because the show was ending soon. It really do be waves of this stuff. However, I may take it upon myself to see what's up with both, but starting with the newest one, since it's the newest.

I did a quick comparison cuz I know they're both popular but between Queen of Tears and Lovely Runner FYI the ratings on Queen of Tears are like 4X as high so I think they're probably both quite popular but I doubt you've missed the boat on people tuning in to Queen of Tears especially since I haven't seen anyone react to it. I haven't seen either so no preference but just thought you'd want to know.
