Checking In for April (part 1)

Hey everyone!

I hope you had a good day with family/friends, I grilled fajitas for the first time today, turned out exceptional and there's a bunch of leftovers for everyone who criticizes me for eating takeout all the time.

For the past 7 days ish, I've not been actively filming as I usually do trying to determine my flow, my balance. Even with that, I had a long talk with my best friend and with that I really realized how passionate I am with this stuff, and I'm glad it's that way. I'm rewiring how I'll be approaching this to respect myself and you guys too. I've had fun the last few recent vids (BABYMONSTER/ILLIT/NCT DREAM) and that's how I want all of them to feel.

Quality videos, good vibes, consistently.

This may not be what some of you want, and I'm starting to learn to accept that. I'm going to be aiming to make this what I want, and hope to gather people who like that flow. I cannot live for people's expectations but I can try to fulfill my own, of myself.

I will be continuing things normal and I will include a few other things that make up my interests here on this page. Obviously I will still cover the same things, but maybe everyone's favs won't be in the rotation all the time, maybe not as often as they may hope, but that's okay. I will also continue having fun with kdramas, and your favorite show might not be my fav, you may not like dark dramas, romance dramas or anything else - just like me, but we will be watching a variety of things. If it's bad, oh well. I think even sometimes we go to see a movie at the theater and it isn't always what we thought it'd be.

I can't say I'll do set number of things ie: 7+ variety shows, 3 kdramas, 2 survival shows etc. I have to be very considerate of time and other endeavors. Since I am not in a position where I have a lot of income coming in from this, I get to approach this the way I did from the beginning and focus on my fun instead of everything else so we'll be grinding YouTube in all ways expanding on various areas of interest. Experimenting with anime since I was having a blast with JJK and all of that, and I will share some of our backlog kdramas and shows on YouTube too.

This idea makes me happier, it's very hard putting expectations and unnecessary pressure on things that were once pressure free.

Maybe I fail at all of this, but at least I can say I tried.

Here's some ideas for April.

KPOP:

I-LAND 2 is coming out, and I've been waiting for this since it was announced. I know it's repackaged and might be different, but I think I would like to try this out with y'all like we did with I-LAND. This may be streamed live, may not. This is a 2 hour show more than likely and these are a lot to film, so would be working around this.

I have been enjoying most of the shows we're watching, so I'll prioritize those I'm having fun with. Included but not limited to Treasure Map / Shining Solo / JCC / Lee Mujin Service / Kstarnextdoor / etc. SWF streams are fun too.

I want to listen to more MUSIC. Album reactions and stuff, I want to keep up with more of that if possible, but it felt like I was working backwards since so many people want variety reactions over the music at this point. Going to find a balance of this.

ANIME:

After consideration, anime is separating onto it's own thing. YT channel and Patreon page, none of that stuff is going up / getting "in the way" of any of the other things in terms of a schedule or anything. I'm working on Demon Slayer and JJK right now and getting all of that situated. Will share/update as I go, of course. None of that is happening rn, only YT.

KDRAMAS/Shows/TVMovies:

Show tier option coming for those who just want kdramas/tv shows

Hope on the Street is something I'm going to check out later today, see if it's my vibe.

For our documentaries (Lost Boys / Beyond the Star) I am generally in a specific mood for a doc, I like exploring worlds and stuff in stories so that's why those things come up more frequently. I will try to share those moments with y'all on Twitch a bit more and maybe knock those out soon!

We had 3 dramas going on at once, that's not my vibe. I think I'll do 1-2, the next being Worst of Evil. Some shows may be watched on Twitch with you all live, some may not. It's not guaranteed I'll do every episode.

Twinkling Watermelon is being dropped, I may finish this on my own and talk to you guys about it. I don't think it's really a reaction type of show, I'm not sure how to explain that, I haven't really encountered that before.

This is TBD: As I've mentioned in the past I'd love to go through other forms of media with you all, and I am feeling more inclined lately. I want to watch that Shogun show people are raving about, and still as I expressed watching childhood things I missed out on would be cool too. I've never seen Vampire Diaries or all of Teen Wolf - these are very random but I used to love Teen Wolf lol. Random things like this may be expanded upon especially after seeing a few of you all saying you'd be game for the cartoons/disney animated movies.
