First Monthly Update!

Hello Patreons! Gotta say, I am very excited to write that. I launched Texturelabs in September with truly no idea what to expect. As creatives, I'm sure you're all familiar with that strange, slightly nervous experience of releasing anything you've created out into the world... To see that first Patreon notification come up was pretty dang awesome. As of today, Texturelabs is at 7 supporters, which to me is incredible. I send you a very genuine thank you. And of course, Happy Halloween!

Thoughts this month:

-It's been nice to get some feedback on the Youtube videos - even just watching the view counts helps me to figure out what will be most useful to you guys. I've got a ton of ideas, but I'm more interested in the website and channel being a useful resource to you than a vanity project for me! Along with this post, I'll set up a poll for the central question I ask myself: more textures or more tutorials? Of course, I'll be continuing to work on both, but would love to know if you guys have a specific interest in one or the other.

-For any $3+ Expert Patreons, I hope you guys have had a chance to check out some of the 16 bit lossless textures. The Patreon/wesbite link seems to be working as advertised, but please let me know if you have any problems at all setting that up or accessing the bonus content. I want to make sure it works seamlessly for you guys.

-I've been cranking away at trying to generate content for the site and channel. New stuff this month included:

A handful of new tutorials

A new section in the Metal textures called "Foils" with some gold inks and overlays

And some various new textures peppered into the other sections - some new handwritten elements, a few new sand and rock textures, etc. A few random selections:

As always, more on the way...

Thank you again for the support - I'm looking forward to seeing how we can grow this project together!

Cheers,

Brady
