Basilisk's Wrath - Shaded Hollow 5 (Body Part)

 "Hey Veronica, have you seen Daisy anywhere?" The pale lamia asked the couple. Jackson stared at her with wide eyes, still a bit shocked about the world of the supernatural he was thrust into a few months prior. "Jackson!' Veronica said, slapping the boy on his chest, "Don't stare, it's rude." She turned back to the snake girl, "I haven't seen her today, Lilith, but I do know her favorite lunch spot." "Excellent!" Lilith replied before receiving the directions and parting ways, happy to see the two. Even though Jackson was a mortal, he seemed genuine enough to make Veronica happy.

 Walking, or rather slithering, to the restaurant allowed her to talk to her guests whom not many people knew about. "How are you doing down there Tom?" She asked her breasts, squeezing them to get closer. "Still a bit bummed over poor Nick's fate," they replied directly to her mind. Tom was once a small mouse boy who was intended to be prey for the young Lillith, but instead, they ended up becoming the best of friends. It had been over ten years since she confessed that she couldn't still be friends with him because of fear that her instinct may have her eventually eat him. She expected him to leave out of fear or fight her decision but instead he volunteered to be eaten, admitting that it was a bit arousing to him. She agreed to it and a few days later, he was fully converted into fat on her chest that she could talk to. After that, the two of them had become inseparable, literally.

 "Don't worry, she'll pay for what she did," Lillith told him as she slammed open the door, startling the catgirl, Daisy, sitting near the window. "You have something that belongs to me, Daisy!" Lillith scolded, taking a seat across from the girl. "You see, that mouse you ate was brother to a good friend of mine, one that I was planning on reuniting with him." Daisy blanched, color draining from her face as she met the wrath brewing in Lillith's eyes. "I- I don't know what you're talking about," Daisy stammered, unable to pull her eyes from the lamia's. "Even if I did eat who you were talking about, prey is prey, that's just the rules." She said, regaining some bravado. "Prey is prey, huh?" Lillith asked, her eyes switching to sinister swirling purple, "Did you know that snakes have been reported to eat cats before?" She asked playfully as she willed Daisy to pull closer to her.

 Suddenly, she released her spell on the catgirl who found herself almost crawling into Lillith's mouth. She staggered back, clearly shaken by how close she had come to being eaten. "Not today, Daisy," the woman told her, pointing a delicate finger at her nemesis, "But one day you will join this body, whether you want to or not." Daisy stood, rattled, and left the restaurant leaving only a pile of bills in her place. "I think that went well," Tom told her, "But why didn't you just eat her now?" "Some people need to learn that there are always bigger fish, and then you strike," She replied to her breasts, "Not to mention that the fear and paranoia can enhance flavor." "Boy am I glad that you already ate me before you gained your powers, but what about Nick?" "Don't worry about him, once Daisy is dissolving in my stomach, his soul will be transferred to my body as well as all of the other souls she accumulated. Then, you can finally be reunited with your brother for good."
