Epic mom fails…🤦‍♀️🤣

Save money, make breakfast at home they say! Unless you’re me. I am an ADHD mom and breakfasts are not easy for me so I like to make things that are easy and quick.

Here’s a few great ideas for breakfast on the go for a fast paced life to get the kids out of the door with lots of nutrition in their bellies unless, of course, you spill the smoothie like I did! 🤣🤣🤣

We were gifted a box of Hungry Root smoothies. This one was the cranberry açai.

I started with a whole wheat, English muffin toasted with a little bit of mayo, a “flippy egg” 🍳(egg over medium) and a bit of spinach to make a quick protein rich sandwich. Saves us money by cooking at home rather than buying breakfast sandwiches at a fast food place where you don’t know what they’re putting into your food. This is the way that we can try to put less chemicals into our bodies.

The early rising was going great until it was time to make the smoothie. I used to love my Nutrabullet but we are no longer good friends after the blade part came unscrewed as I picked it up off of the base of the blender, and I ended up with a smoothie all over my hands and the counter! Mom fail! Or should I say blender fail? 🤣

Luckily, I got half of it into a cup before all of it was wasted so that my daughters could have a healthy variety of fruits and vegetables, protein, and whole grains to start their day .

I have recently learned that gluten is not good for ADHD symptoms. My oldest daughter has ADHD symptoms as well as I but I find this to be the most difficult thing to extract from our diets.

I will touch on more ADHD remedies soon. We do our best as moms and parents in general but there are days that seem to never end when they start like this and continue to erupt our lives with stress and obstacles.

From flat tires, running late for school, empty gas tanks, messy houses, spilled food, and overall chaos days we still power through!

Meditations and breathing exercises have helped me a lot.

The joys of being a parent are incredible, but parenting also comes with a lot of stress. It is important to manage the stressful days and the stressful situations for our own wellbeing and health.

Our kids need us to stay ok so just remember you’re not alone! We all have bad days! Take a few deep breaths and remember why you wanted to be a parent in the first place.

Think of those cute little faces and what a difference we can make in our children’s lives raising them with love and compassion so they can make a difference in this world when they’re grown.

Feeding them healthy meals and creating laughter and magic for them to have the best possible kid experience while they’re little. Be the light in their little lives. Laugh together, play together, spend time, and learn together. We aren’t just their teachers. They actually teach us so much every day.
