Update on rewards for July and Other Things
Added 2019-07-31 00:31:35 +0000 UTCFirst, I wanna apologize for having taken so long with July rewards. As everyone heard in my Discord server (or those who have access to it), I've hit a snag in my art due to burnout from over work. I couldn't bring myself to draw as often as I'd like to, or even set time to draw out my own ideas. I could only gather up energy to work on private projects that had to take higher priority. One of them being the PlotQuest web series I've been teasing for a while. July's almost over and I still haven't gotten around to starting your requests. It's on me for not getting started in time when I'd already promised to have those out sooner. In short, I feel like I need a break.
I'll try to hand those out sometime in August when I'm able to work on them.
That being said, I'm cutting off requests for both August and September.
One of the reasons being that my team and I are planning to get the first episode of PlotQuest finished and available to the public very soon! I'd like to spend some time this month hashing out the final scenes I've been assigned for clean up and color so other members of the team can handle dubbing and lip sync. I will also be attending a panel at one of the upcoming conventions talking a bit more about the work we've done. I'll get back with details on that later.
A 2nd reason is kind of a selfish one, being that I REALLY need time for myself. Up until now, I've managed to keep this patreon train going without a hitch and it's finally starting to catch up to me after a year. If I don't take some time off to draw for myself, I'll get burned out and lose energy to do what I've always been doing with this platform. The less of that happening, the better really.
Sketch tier patrons are free to delete their pledges until I announce them again for October. As for some of you who've expressed concerns and still choose to donate for the month, I can't thank you guys enough. You're the MVPs who help me keep a full refrigerator every month B)
July's been a huge slump, but I'll try to make up for lost time for the next two months. Later days, and thanks again for the overwhelming support for what I do o/
