Update on things!

Been a minute since I made a post. The new year started 3 weeks ago and I have next to no content to update my Twitter and galleries with. There's a reason for that, and quite a bad one D:

Last year, I pushed myself harder than normal so I can get in a consistent flow of content and find ways to make my art better. Which was surprisingly successful so far. But the very moment we rolled into 2019, there was an incredible strain in my hand and forearm, which kept me from holding a pen. All symptoms pointed to Carpal Tunnel syndrome. So for the past 2.5 weeks I had to refrain from using my hand for anything. I couldn't draw, animate, play games, and I could only type with my less dominant hand. It was quite miserable.

After spending that amount of time resting, keeping my hand braced, applying ice, and taking medications, I'm feeling well enough to draw again. I'm not as well as I was from before all this yet, but I'll try and have sketch rewards done before the month ends. Sorry I had to be in the dark about my predicament this month without art updates of any kind.

Since I have little time for the usual monthly vote for an illustration, I'll have to skip it again. With any luck, I shouldn't have to deal with this in February. There's a lot of lost time I'd like to make up for before the next month, so I'll cram as much into the final couple weeks as my hand will allow me. Wish me luck, 'cause I'm gonna need it x_x
