I did think that they could sign again at the time. BUT they needed time to get the whole island to come over and sign which would be very time intensive logistically. AND they needed these signatures before the reverie. This must've been just a few days or the day before the Reverie making it impossible to get enough signatures again in time until the next Reverie 4 years or so away.

No lie. This had me crying with y’all since I haven’t seen this flashback in a while and I was so damn high watching it too💀 Otohime was such a wonderful queen😭😭 With a heart so huge and caring about everyone she came in contact with 🥹 She as really a great just like Fisher Tiger fr I love how she was such an inspiration and even tho she meant just as much to her sons, they were able to develop those ticks and habits that we now know were only made to keep their sister happy. Such powerful storytelling goddamnit Oda😭😩 This whole arc and its lesson on hate really hits hard as you think of how it compares and is STILL true till today. Oda was in his bag writing this idc what NO ONE says🙌🏾 Great reaction guys can’t wait for the rest! Now I gotta go finish crying cause DAMN what an arc and what a character like Otohime😭😭😓
