haitham version of this would be like him talking with kaveh into late hours in the library(?) about anything and everything, not wanting to go back to his dorm, and then thinking “damn i want to do this forever. oh.”
also i’ve been playing hsr lately cos genshin is in filler arc and the story is rly cool but i’m still yet to find a character / ship that grips me like haikaveh/xingyun did :”) why am i like this

Not kaveh having internal “oh shit I could fall in love with this man”. Me too kaveh me too. Gosh I love them in their uniforms they look so cute but also professional and studious. They look so much softer too it’s heart melting 😭

2024-04-08 15:06:29 +0000 UTCfor sure!! haikaveh are simp4simp 🥹🥹🥹 thank you so much 😭🫶🏻🫶🏻!! i realized i haven’t drawn as much akademiya hkvh as i should’ve cos i’ve only drawn them as flashback snippets 🥹 aa yes i love the thought of haitham loving songs for their melody ofc but also the lyrics, now i’m thinking of him sending kaveh links to songs he likes at random times of the day whenever he thinks of him 😭 right!! it’s one of the things where you spend so much time with each other that you may not notice these subtle changes until a specific moment when he becomes hyper aware of the different eye levels and also how the light catches his eyes when he smiles and all that stuff 🥹 also i’m glad you think they look younger cos i tried in the beginning but i gave up at some point LOL but the akademiya outfits are rly doing the heavy lifting hahahah

2024-04-01 05:43:17 +0000 UTC1) this is so stunning and AHHHHHH and 2) have you come across blade/inbibitor lunae in HSR? hsr definitely doesn’t give us as much juicy story/intricate chara dynamics to work with as genshin, but that’s a “tragic doomed lovers turned enemies” that is so delicious

2024-03-31 17:59:47 +0000 UTCI have been coming back to this comic every day since it was posted, Akademiya era Haikaveh has me wrapped around its little finger and I am not complaining about it 😌 I also think we don’t talk about Kaveh falling for Alhaitham back when they were students enough, so you can only imagine how excited I was seeing you draw this - it’s absolutely adorable! I love the Haitham scenario where he turns around to Kaveh late into their study session at the library, and sees Kaveh’s long lashes kiss his cheeks once he’s accidentally fallen asleep; that or smiling at each other with tired eyes and he’s convinced he wants to do this for the rest of his life. Imagining how much harder he’d take the heartbreak of losing his equal thinking he’s lost the possibility of comforting silence with your beloved, to then gain it later on. Reminds me of this other comic you worked on where Alhaitham lovingly gazes at Kaveh while they must be talking about the most mundane things, and he’s reminded of how they used to spend time together during their student days. UGH I love your art so much I cannot put it into words sometimes, you always manage to portray the best scenarios. The chibis are SO, so cute once again. They always add such a lighthearted tone to the comics 🥹 Not going to lie, I think outside the beautiful art, I really enjoy how you portray Alhaitham as a music enthusiast no matter what. Be it that he tells Kaveh “no wonder they write songs about it” after they’ve just kissed (gods, does this always give me goosebumps) or he wants to share his headphones with his dear senior, it’s details like these that make my heart skip a beat when it comes to these two. I mentioned it last time as well, but I definitely see it here too - the lighting and colouring is SO satisfying. They’ve always been wonderful, and maybe I am biased to certain panels/tropes/stories, but it’s far too pretty not to mention it again 💜 I don’t think I will ever quite get enough of your Haikaveh, especially as you find just the sweet spot in terms of drawing them visibly younger, but still looking like themselves 🥹 I also like to think that Kaveh doesn’t just see the height difference, but he’s really grown up over the summer and he’s changed a little bit more from the cute duckling junior he remembered. He’s still got fluffy hair and soft hands, but he sure has a charming smile that maybe he doesn’t quite remember from before - or maybe he hasn’t truly noticed? Ensue the panic that follows upon realising he might have a crush on Haitham 🤭 All in all, they are both adorable, especially Kaveh as a blushing mess and his hair braided to the side. I am sure they both fawn over each other internally.

Edit: Oh and about HSR, yeah I don’t have any ships I’ve super subscribed to but I like the ideas of Jing Yuan with many characters (like Welt or Luocha) and recently Acheron & Black Swan. I also love Argenti as a character and I think Gepard & Sampo is fun.
