ok the reason why i wasn’t sure abt this was cos there wasn’t rly a resolution..? fhghdh but idkk in my head they’re still in the process of developing deep feelings for each other and i thought a conversation abt dating and stuff would be too much for one night esp when they both dk what they’re doing 😭😭 but now they gotta deal with the fallout in the morning.. i also considered going full fwb route which was the original plan with this au but it just didn’t fit the vibes lmao although who knows what they did after the fade to black. not me

2024-02-19 02:27:47 +0000 UTC“it may be scary as it is uncharted territory but at least they have each other” i love that 🥹🥹🥹 haikaveh in a nutshell, canon hkvh learning from each other and coming out of their comfort zones after the fight that tore them apart hahah the only time haitham will manhandle kaveh is when he wants to squeeze next to him on the couch 😂 aa thank you for catching the music thing! i like the thought that he loves songs abt love cos poetic lyrics and it just sounds nice but also not being able to fully relate.. till now 🥹 hahah i know im biased but i like to think that haitham doesn’t laugh as much around other ppl so it’ll be another case of kaveh thinking he knows haitham best like “wdym he’s reserved? he’s so chatty and he actually smiles and laughs a lot” 😭😭😭 thank you sm as always ♥️♥️♥️♥️

2024-02-17 21:07:33 +0000 UTCI know you said you weren’t sure how to end this because it did not have a resolution per se, but I personally think that you did a great job of tying loose ends for now, as well as leaving room for yourself to come back to it should you wish to. Not only that, but it is rather fitting and a nice nod to how they are canonically after AQ and just before PoP. They are at a stage where they’re not together, they are still dancing around each other, but falling into a pattern where they are content with how things are for now (this is more evident after PoP and closer to Kaveh’s birthday letter). The same goes for this ending - sure, they talked it out, but they are exploring their sexuality/romantic attraction for the first time. Both together and on their own. It may be scary as it is uncharted territory, but at least they have each other. Hopefully with this talk, both of them feel a bit more at ease knowing they can have a heart to heart without tensions being at an all time high or feeling like they have to put their best foot forward to ensure they make a good impression. That isn’t to say it’d be perfect each time, but it definitely is a sign of improvement and growth for both of them. I find it incredibly funny that Kaveh thinks of Alhaitham as a “muscle pig” when he definitely couldn’t get his hands off him a second ago 🤭 the chibis add such a lighthearted note while being incredibly cute, especially Kaveh’s on page 3. I’ve got to say, I got butterflies when Alhaitham thought out loud “it’s no wonder they write songs about it”. Not only does it show he is a music nerd (affectionately), but also that he would be the type to delve into the deeper meaning of lyrics (nice nod to him being a Haravatat in canon). But my favourite thing about it is that, as we mentioned before, he has nothing to lose so he is more upfront about how he feels and can say things like these to Kaveh without being ashamed or scared about how it’d be perceived. It’s even more endearing because neither has experience, so there’s no callouses stopping him from opening up like this. I adore the fact that they are both so relaxed, not only because they were honest with each other and it was received well, but you can see it on their faces - not only do they smile, but it reaches their eyes too. They both look at the other with such fondness it hurts. The little blushes add to that feeling of “spring of first love”, even if it happened much later than most experience 🥺 It’s so lovely to see Alhaitham laugh so much, but also how, even though he might be a bit shy, Kaveh is comfortable enough to caress Haitham’s face - god, it is such a tender gesture, Noran 😭 that alongside the way Kaveh scrunches up his brows and cups Alhaitham’s face to deepen their kiss is just aksbkabdka no thoughts, just Hkvh LOVE LOVE LOVE how you ended it on the monologue - neither knows where they are going from here, but they will figure it out together. BEAUTIFUL WORK as always, thank you for sharing it with us 🥺💜
