Lady Wolf is terrifying to an outsider, but as far as I can tell, she's an excellent boss who inspires substantial loyalty in (most of) her subordinates. Just have to overlook the raping and eating people. To be fair, Tsu'ug was at least as bad on that front. "No one here kills for fun" might not be a high bar, but it's higher than they've got in Arhkid's organization.
