"Emily Lockwood, your reputation certainly... precedes you," mused the vile Throckmorton as his gaze lingered upon the lithe body of the meddlesome detective laid upon his desk. He had relieved her of the constricting trappings of office attire, though had left the sheer barely black pantyhose. A professional office calls for modesty after-all!

"You went through all the trouble to get hired as my secretary, come up with that ridiculous persona 'Emma Keystone' and went tiptoeing into my office in those attention seeking emerald heels, in order to get those pretty little fingers into my files. What was it that you were looking for, my dear? Was it this?" Throckmorton removed a small old fashioned looking key from his vest pocket, unlocked a desk drawer and produced a weathered looking folder.

"I've never been able to get myself to trust computers," he chuckled. "You were so close. I might not have even caught you before you found it, but those head turning legs certainly had me curious."

"Now then, what to do with you? I certainly can't have you meddling in my affairs. And I'm afraid now that I've seen your... er... 'performance' I can't exactly give you a job referral as a 'girl detective' It must be said, you are dreadfully terrible at this, my dear."

"I'd like to believe that you would simply drop it, but I've heard about your 'do-gooder tenacity.' Ling Chen told me all about that. You are a real thorn for people like me. I'll tell you what, I'll make some calls. I'm sure with as storied a career as you have had, there's a list of people who would like the opportunity to catch up... for old time's sake..."
