Also I just love leopard seals a lot. They are so scary. They didn't need to be that scary. Love that for them.

Very cool! I love centaur-shaped alien designs (Animorphs my beloved) there's just a lot of meat on the bone there for interesting visuals and worldbuilding >:3c

2025-11-30 17:19:50 +0000 UTCAs long as you're going for sci-fi, why not some six-limbed species? I invented a few for a failed SF novel I can't quite let go of. They follow the centauroid pattern with four walking legs and two arms with hands ... one of them (omnivorous) looks like a Chinese dragon, long and sinuous with colorful feathers, and has two opposable thumbs on opposite sides of each hand. Another is massive and scaled like a pangolin and eats only fresh fruit. The third is furred, mostly vegetarian, and close to a traditional centaur except for having soft four-toed feet and a ropy tail with a tuft on the end of it. None of them wear clothes. If you feel inspired, be my guest.
