IMPORTANT UPDATE: For all Patreons, here's how the last 48 hours have gone. When my original video was recorded, and the reason I decided to use Patreon to begin with, was because I thought my dad was close to losing his job, meaning not nearly enough income in the house to pay for everything, and not enough time for me to find work instead. It was weeks of toiling with the decision, even when thinking I had no time to lose I still did not want to do this. I caught a loooot of flak for going this route, mostly from people who didn't like me to begin with, and got a lot of criticism about what I SHOULD be doing, when in fact, I was and am doing it, looking for real work, selling off toys, etc. All worth it if it meant helping my family in their time of need. Today I learned that my dad's job is perfectly secure. We spent three weeks thinking it wasn't, and apparently plans at his shop changed, so for the foreseeable future, we're going to be much better off than I feared. I went the Patreon route because a job would take months to find around here and just as long to get enough toys through eBay to help. I thought I needed an immediate answer, and today I find out I don't. Now it is true, my family is still in need of some extra cash, which I'm perfectly willing to sell toys or up my video production to provide until I can find consistent income. That said, my revenue this year has been a third of what it was last year. I don't know why it plummeted, but it's why I sold off so much the last few months, so I could continue to give what I usually give to the house and I will continue to do so. That said, I am keeping the Patreon around, but the purpose has changed. The $1500 goal is gone, moved to the $1000 spot in place of "save my family" which is not necessary after all. I thought I needed a solution in the next 2 months, I do not. If that changes your mind about your pledge, please feel free to reduce it or cancel it completely, I do not want anyone feeling like I tricked you into pledging when I didn't need it. If you want to stick around regardless of pledge amount, you have my thanks and it's still extra income to help my family regardless, and for those who stick around, rewards start going up in April. Regardless of where the per month total is, I'll still post the promised episode of TJ vs VG I had planned, and if it gets back to or stays over $500, the show sticks around. I do apologize if anyone pledged out of concern that turned out to not be warranted, it was not my intention to mislead anyone, I honestly thought I had no time. If you'd still like to support the channel, you have my gratitude and my promise that I'll work to earn it. Hopefully some things go well soon and this Patreon won't be necessary at all.

You're fine man things happen and you never know if stuff like that could change. I am sticking with you, besides you are only human and no amount of rights can avoid any wrong. Atleast you aren't using it on more toys and hell if it helps your family and ultimately you to stick around im all for it.

" That said, my revenue this year has been a third of what it was last year. I don't know why it plummeted" At a guess? Adblock and similar programs. I've got my Adblock set to disabled on Youtube, but not everyone will have bothered to set the exception.
