ALIEN STAGE: "Karma" Reaction!

ALIEN STAGE: "Karma" Reaction!

Comments

On your take at the start, on how "they knew they would be dying, why are they surprised?" I think it's more than only Mizi was "surprised" (and that's because we, as a fandom, were under the impression that she didn't know that losing would kill someone until Karma came out), but most others were not really surprised. I don't think they were just sad and trying their best to either survive or have their loved one survive. But then again, it's heavily up to interpretation. I agree with you on how it's incorrect to think that "humans" were the cause of all the bad in this, instead of the aliens. But, this is from the POV of Mizi. Someone who is currently experiencing deep mental issues. And more importantly, she and all the other humans have been living in a not-so-metaphorical cages ALL of their lives. The implications of how that could have affected their worldview are never-ending. Like, can their brains find it in them to even blame the aliens? It's smt that happens with sheltered humans and their brains; in some situations, they can't "blame" their environment because they don't know what even could be better. And therefore, they blame what they know instead, which is their peers, instead of the root cause. So in this situation, Mizi is blaming her fellow humans and *herself*, instead of the Aliens, because she doesn't comprehend the "possible alternatives" for the aliens. And Mizi seems to blame herself a lot, like the way I interpret her character. Is that she's someone who villainizes her own feelings, even though those feelings are normal and human? But she hasn't grown in a normal environment, so her understanding of "normal" is probably very skewed. I'd assume it to be partially the Aliens teaching "normalcy" as what they want humans to be like, and humans to learning "normal human behaviour" by observing other humans. Mizi clearly idolises Sua, so when she sees Sua being ready to die for her. Mizi would likely interpret that as something that she "should be" doing as well. That segment above ended up being kinda rambly, idk if I made any sense. XD The children are likely clones. As we can see in 6:26 (Karma). They're doing some "adding bloods" with letters L+M (Luka + Mizi?) written there. And the way these children are being displayed at the museum? disgusting. Someone interpreted the "children falling down the fire" moment as "liberating" them from their issues and so on. And everyone was there, except Luka. And then we see that "Luka is Back" poster apparently 7 years into the future... I am so not okay. Someone free him. I can't even imagine what he must be going through. especially now that he has no reason to live anymore. Not with Huyna gone. :sob: Anyway, actor AU is so cute. Drunk Luka means everything to me. If anything happens to him I will kill everyone in this room and then myself
