Ooooohhh He DID stab a puppy - we can’t have that. He has to go!
That’s INSANE to be doused in that much gas! That’s a fair on if he could just get receipts from other people or had to buy himself - I’m leaning on the former, but want to talk in the Episode 11 intro about it! But YES! The long hair and the puffy coat are giving psychedelic 60’s vibes!
Megumi is so smart for using his surroundings the way he does in a fight and seriously, he’s leveled up and I’m so proud of him in that regard! The power of love? FUFUFUFU–
And yes, Megumi being darker with killing someone - he did not HESITATE - which makes me wonder what Yuuji would think of all that. And why Sukuna might be like, “Oh I like HIM.”
Takaba is HILARIOUS and I totally agree – it could have been EASILY annoying, but the silence worked so well! And yay, more 30’s folks! BORN FOR SHOUJO BUT FORCED TO SHONEN OMG – I love that. And yes to all of your suggestions about the cosplay!!
My shipper heart was LIVING for Megumi’s faith in Yuuji! And yeah, that is a fair point about Higuruma’s serious side – and yes, Takaba and Yuuji need to meet, too!
I forgot that was a Naruto reference, too, but I’m honestly here for it (especially if it’s a Kakashi move XD).
Yesss, the match up between Reggie and Megumi have been so good so far! And seriously, Reggie must have a photographic memory to find the right receipt when he needs to – or maybe that’s part of his technique? That’s a good point about using Reggie’s technique, too – it would be a lot for me to keep up with, honestly. And Reggie on a Vespa is such a surprise but not surprising moment hahaha! He was safe with the helmet but not using the phone – also, mastering driving in 12 days? Maybe he was using the muscle memory of his vessel? Hm.
Yeah, Fushiguro has changed so much and grown; it’s wild to think there’s been such little time between Season 1 and Season 3! Ooohhh, I didn’t catch that soundtrack change as well - THAT’S a great observation! And hahahaha, yeah, you can’t hurt puppies and not get retribution.
Oohhh, *Sees your Last Paragraph* Don’t put that evil on us, Ricky Bobby! XD
I could see them spending some time flashing to where everyone is, but SURELY they’ll show us what Yuuta’s been up to and Choso/Yuki, at LEAST. I guess we’ll see! Thanks for the comment!

Gege was really cooking with this cast of characters!! Reggie DOES look like a Goose! Hahaha, that would be really funny if he pulled out the wrong receipt! He does seem like an older sorcerer, so maybe he’s just that smart? *shrugs*
Mappa really did help to saturate the comedy surrounding Takaba!
Megumi’s faith in Yuuji? Shipper Heart = CONQUERED. Heart Eyes, INDEED! I love it!
And yes, Megumi is Gojo’s adopted son for sure!
And wow, yeahhhhh, that’s a very good point about Megumi if HE had found Higuruma – Yuuji would have probably been good in any scenario of course, because he’s our innocent bean! Thank you for the comments!!

Oh my gosh, I love this ridiculous cast of characters so much.
Reggie's powers are so much, but I love how ridiculous he looks, like a peacock or a goose, which I think somehow suits him xD I do have to wonder how he knows exactly which recipt to pull out and where they all are. Imagine he pull one out thinking it's a car, and what he gets are dished or something, that would be hilarious, lol.
And then Takaba just appearing there and helping Megumi is great. I was laughing so hard at him because MAPPA did a great job animating those comedic bits.
My shipper heart was so happy with Megumi's faith in Yuuji, let me tell you. Megumi had NO hesitation that since he wasn't the one to find Higuruma Yuuji would get the job done. Heart eyes, I swear.
Every time we see how smart Megumi is makes me smile. Figuring out to use the gym since his Domain is still incomplete is quite clever.
I'm so glad that it was Yuuji who found Higuruma, because there's no way that Megumi, who doesn't hesitate to kill when he needs to, would have convince him to use his points to add the rule.

Reggie drew my ire the minute he stabbed Totality. I can forgive many things, but hurting the puppy? That just paints a target on your back. From the minute Reggie did that I was calling out for Fushiguro to kill him 😆
So I did pause on the close-up of those two receipts Reggie sent at Fushiguro in the beginning to read/translate what was written on them. Each one was for a different amount of petrol/gas. In total Fushiguro was drenched in almost 100 litres of petrol. But because I did that I was able to work out what Reggie's cursed technique was pretty early on. I do want to know though if the receipts are things he's had to buy himself, or if he can just gather up other people's receipts of purchases they've made.
Glad we both thought of the Reggie Star Ringo Starr connection 🤣 I definitely blame the silhouette of his receipt clothing for reinforcing that connection in my head. It really gives off that late-60s feel (as does him being barefoot) 😂
Having these fights occur in an apartment block is honestly so cool. It allows them to have different backdrops, while the characters also have the issue of contending with such an enclosed space. Seeing Fushiguro using his surroundings to his advantage and working within that space really shows how his fighting skills have been trained and honed (especially when he's a teenager fighting against grown adults). Also gotta give him props for just how quickly he's switching out his shikigami now. Fushiguro has always been a badass in a fight, but damn has he gotten even more impressive since Shibuya.
Uchida Yuuma made his voice for Fushiguro a little more guttural and darker at times at the beginning of this episode which gave me hints to seeing a darker side of Fushiguro, but I still didn't expect him to suddenly kill someone like that. Especially because the killing blow was so sudden.
They really managed to make those moments with Takaba truly humorous. There are times when that kind of comedy falls a bit flat for me, but the use of silence and just their facial reactions made me laugh so hard. Also hurray for us getting yet another 30+ year old! 🥳 But poor Takaba. I know for some shounen characters we say they were born for shoujo but forced to shounen. Takaba was born comedy but got stuck in the wrong genre 🥺 I can say for certain I don't want people cosplaying as Takaba this summer unless they do two things: 1) use a really good butt glue to affix the costume in place, and 2) attach a piece of cardboard with 呪(noroi/curse) on it as a modesty censor 🤣
My shipper heart needed to take a moment after seeing that little bit of a smile when Fushiguro was sure Itadori was okay because he managed to make Higuruma create the new rule 🥺🥰 I will say after Fushiguro's reaction to Takaba I now need two things: Fushiguro to meet Higuruma (whose serious side seems a bit more on par with Fushiguro), and Takaba to meet Itadori (who I feel could do with a bit more joviality in his life right now 🥺).
The punishment fan was bad enough (also, where the heck was he hiding that thing?), but I completely lost it at Takaba pulling out Kakashi's Thousand Years of Death move 😂 Not the Naruto reference I thought we'd ever get in Jujutsu Kaisen but I can honestly appreciate it in this moment.
The animation really went off with the Reggie and Fushiguro fight. But I feel like, speed-wise and intellectually, they're quite a good match-up. Both Fushiguro and Reggie have to choose which shikigami or receipt to use in almost a split second. It's also kinda crazy to me that Reggie's able to remember all the items he has available to him on all those receipts. I said it in the Discord, but I have to say that I'm not sure I'd want Reggie's cursed technique after seeing him use up that gift certificate for the five-star ryokan (traditional Japanese inn). Yes it would be helpful considering time constraints can prevent you from actually being able to visit such a place for two days of relaxation, but I'm really unsure about feeling the effects of such a break without actually experiencing the break. Also, my most unexpected moment this episode (which is saying something given all that is Takaba) was for part of the Fushiguro-Reggie fight to involve Reggie chasing down Fushiguro on a Vespa of all things 🤣 Also Reggie being safety first with using a helmet, yet driving while using a mobile to check the drone footage for tracking Fushiguro 😆
I love the change Fushiguro's Domain has undergone since we first saw it back in Season 1 (which seems like it was so long ago, but was just months for Fushiguro). I also love that they changed the sound effect (and the lighting effect) of him creating the Domain to being the same as when he pulled Mahoraga out against Shigemo in Season 2. Really heightened that feeling of slight dread for Reggie. I say slight dread because I still want him to die for what he did to Totality.
My thought after you talking at the end of the discussion how much we still don't know in relation to Hashimo, Okkotsu, Angel, and Hakkari: Mappa better give us the end of this fight next week, and NOT suddenly flash to events happening elsewhere around the same time 🥲🙏

Takaba was introduced in ep3, although he was still "sane" lol
