Thank you so much!! The new Rule of 7 and this coming week we have the Rule of 8!! Loved how adorable Midvalley and Emilio were in this. Huckleberry is the Knives to Ruby’s Vash, to be sure. RAZLO HYYYYPPPEEEEE! Yes, I love it so far - I am simultaneously nervous for Razlo being there and excited! Basically, I’m Elindira, right now! 😛 Milly and Meryl are so precious - I love their friendship in this – and ugh, the CONFETTI. If you know, YOU KNOW. WOW, so THAT explains the VA swap. Okay, then. Hm. And yesss, that conversation about violence was so impressive in Episode 7. This series is really nailing (no pun intended) that connection to trauma and the cycle of violence. The Rule of 8 is going to be terrifying - I both want to watch and want to stay away but….yeah….to let him live or not let him live! THAT is the question! Thank you for the comment! Really enjoyed the excitement in this reaction – Rule of 7! 🥰 Various things I loved: The Midvalley and Emilio moments were really cute, I’m really happy this is what we get with them at the moment 🥰 “My dog is being Knives right now” 🤣 I like the way they continue to use time skips for development The Razlo hype was such a delight and Huckleberry was just as excited about it 😆 Razlo’s expressions were so well done! Loved the Elendira impressions 😆 The Milly and Meryl scenes paralleling each other in the episode and showing how well they know one another by this point Wow, I’d forgotten about the confetti until you mentioned it… 😭 Since it came up in the discussion: the original Stampede Knives VA (Junya Ikeda) is in prison for fraud. Which, you know, kind of in character, I guess? Good casting? 😅 Agreed that the conversation between Vash and Knives was a true highlight. My favourite line is: “The true nature of violence can only be named by those who have felt it.” I think that links very beautiful to the previous episode discussions, especially around Midvalley and the abusive dynamic he found himself in. Crybaby!Liviooooooo… 😭 I honestly don’t know whether I’m looking forward to the next episode or not. Rule of 8 could really fuck with us! I personally hope they let Wolfwood subvert his fate, but then it could really be a monkey’s paw situation. In any case, I am definitely looking forward to the discussion! ❤️

But seriously, I absolutely agree with your analysis of that whole conversation. It was so well done! TriStamp/Star really does wonders in characterizing Vash and Knives relationship. The Knives crash out is happening! Just in a very different way than most of us were expecting. I can’t entirely fault him for thinking dangerously things can’t touch him, considering he was just brought back from practically being vaporized. But he may be forgetting how much that relied on the support of other people. Also, if I were Elendira, I’d be concerned he was gonna want to drain the life out of me eventually. Since she’s part plant she probably always saw herself as safer in Knives Gang compared to all the human members, and now it’s looking like that’s not actually the case… Thanks for the video!
