Watching episode 23b as its called makes you appreciate the true ending so much more. Seeing an Okarin who has forced himself to move on from Kurisu death and has apparently not been to the lab or around Mayuri as much is depressing. If I recall correctly, Amane said if the plan failed she would stay in the current world line and not go back so I assume she's still around. I was wondering what the distorted image was that appears when Okabe lies on the couch. Some have said its a blurry image of a dead Kurisu or past timelines. An interesting take is that the waves in the white represents the lab coat she stiched in the Alpha world line. The lyrics in the episode in the op are indeed the new version which is simply verse 2 of Hacking to the Gate with slight changes in the visuals. Ooh why is Kurisu back at the end of the episode? I guess to Zero we go. I cant wait to watch Zero alongside you because Ive only seen a handful of episodes of it. Most reactors do not watch past the last episode of Steins Gate because episode 24 so perfectly wraps things up that they dont want to watch past that out of fear of that ending being ruined or tainted I guess is the right word but the Ova and the movie and this plus Zero really makes you feel like you like you have gone through the complete Steins Gate package.
