ORB: On the Movements of the Earth! Episode 19 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

*MORALLY FOUND HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

What an episode! One focused on a father-daughter pairing who are so alike, and yet convicted to opposite paths that are opposed against one another...and they don't even know it! This episode had so much to bring up and talk about, as we have new characters, old "Friends," and the set up as we start to build towards the final act of this season!

This comment is so enlightening and engaging, so thank you for that! I love that tie to Rafal and to why he’s the perfect person to represent the series as a whole (and steals the show in the OP). Thank you for this comment!

Orb shows us that science’s basic assumptions are not inherently neutral; they become tools shaped by the convictions of those who use them. Observation and reason can illuminate truth, but in the wrong hands, the same foundations can be weaponised to enforce power or suppress dissent. The science remains unchanged—only the intent behind it shifts. This functions as a metaphor for human belief more broadly. Our assumptions help us navigate the world, but when hardened into certainty, they can lead equally to progress or destruction. Orb suggests that good and evil are not born from knowledge itself, but from how firmly—and uncritically—we cling to it. Rafal represents conviction in its purest form: belief driven by curiosity rather than control. Had he lived, it is possible he might have followed Jholenta’s path—not out of betrayal, but because sustained conviction under pressure often mutates into compromise. Orb ultimately warns that without self-examination, even truth-seeking beliefs can converge toward the same fate.

You mention about how Draka and Bishop Antoni are similar in their nature. Both doesn't believe in faith, rather they have convictions on making money for themselves. Imagine if they meet again and if heliocentrism happen to be the topic of discussion. Do you think Antoni would deny such ideas to make money for himself? It just makes it a good topic of discussion Well we might find out soon. P.S. Future Romania might read this comment
