NATSUME YUUJINCHOU: ALL YOKAI TIER RANKING! SEASONS 1-7!

It was requested early on in my Natsume viewing that I do a tier ranking of ALL the yokai, and so for Seasons 1-7, we are doing JUST THAT! 189 yokai to rank...no big deal, right?!

This was so much fun - I didn't realize HOW MANY yokai there were, so it was a pleasant surprise to go through them all - I only wish I remembered more of them better! And ahhhh, look, I totally get the SSS Tier for the Little Fox! I wish the manga included him more! At least Madara secured his top spot! And yeah, Midorikawa has such a variety of yokai designs, but she also has her favorites! Not that I'm complaining! Thank you for the idea and for the comment and support! The manga review is going to be a doozy!!

A walk down memory lane. 🥰 My only note is the Absolute And Complete Truth that the Little Fox is SSS tier – I accept no arguments! 😭 I forgot about the 'variety' of black blob yokai we got. “I remember them – but I wish I didn’t!” 😂 Madara would have been so mad about ANY other spot, we would never hear the end of it. 🤣 Looking forward to next week! 💙

Only ranking that I call justice for is the black acorn eating one 😁 it should have made it to cute I guess for how tsundere it was with Reiko but it's fine I had a fun time and I can't wait for the manga read through I'm gonna try and read through those volumes over the weekend. Oh one more ranking that was either/or for me was putting Kai in S tier because his story was such a pivotal point for Natsume that had such an interesting conclusion but Natsume chick baby absolutely S tier worthy so I have no complaints 👍🏽
