It's the penultimate episode of the season and guess what? There's a Kaiju loose in the city! Our Fab Five (now featuring Kinta) are all gathered, but what's a plucky crew of supernaturally powered adolescents to do against a threat this big?
Leave it to DanDaDan could be this creative, funny, and inventive in taking it to the next level! I'm so excited for the finale, but we need to talk about this first!

Hahahaha, thank you for the comment and noting all of that - yeah, I’ll give my final “thoughts” on that in the intro for episode 12, but it is a “choice” the writer makes but it checks for standard “shonen logic.” Thanks for the comment! One to go for this season!

I just love Kinta already, but YES, he does remind me of Gendo Ikari as well! Let’s hope he ends up being a “happier” character! 😛 I’m 100% here for the Aira/Kinta crack ship! And…AHAHAHA, YOU KNOW - in this series that borders on the extreme at times…I wouldn’t put it past them to do it! “Survival Skills” and all! But man, with all my grievances against EE, even I wouldn’t want that for him or Okarun as Jiji’s friend! XD Thank you for the comment! Onwards to the finale!

2025-09-20 14:30:36 +0000 UTCMy question from last episode was promptly answered and we are indeed in a spiritual realm (and i guess Kinta has high spiritual power as he is here too), so as others also have pointed out, there should be no "real damage" here. From the top of my head the only times there was any real collateral damage in Dandadan was the abandoned hospital and nearby road in episode one, Turbo Grannys attack in the city and Evil Eye (well, and Okarun) destroying the Ayase house. We did also had Evil Eye punch a ball so hard that several people flew into the goal just from the wind force alone, and no one seemed to think that was strange, so i do still think the "criticism" of Dandadan not bothering with consequences still stand. :P

Kinta with the odd hand poses - made me think of Gendo Ikari, who is also often seen with his hands obscuring his forehead. Momo giving Kinta the nickname "perv" - just like Okarun being given to Ken Takakura, another similarity between the two. And loved the Aira / Kinta crack ship, that's just perfect! Finally, sorry not sorry warning to follow - But Evil Eye's ultimate weakness - if this was a very, VERY different anime, and thank god it's not - if all else fails Okarun could turn Jiji back by simply urinating on him. Ah-yup. Well, it's true! Survival shows have gone to far worse topics than that! Evil eye's own fault for casually wanting to murder everything and being a joke side character! :)
