We're in the penultimate volume of this series and Nightow is going ALL OUT on this "Double Duel" between both Legato BlueSummers and Vash the Stampede alongside Livio and Elindira the Crimson Nail!
This volume is WILD and I was just in shock throughout most of it with my jaw on the floor! I can't believe we only have one volume after this -- I'm not sure I'm ready for it!

Thank you so much! I cannot believe that we’re nearing the final volume…oof. It is VERY bittersweet! Aahahaha – Let’s choose DENIAL together for Stargaze and happy endings! 😛 The ink splatters were so great and stylistic! I loved it! But also - the ANGST!! Ugh…I hate to see Vash in pain, so this volume was rougggh. And Legato getting his life this volume! And yes, Legato definitely seemed like he wanted to get Vash out of the picture so that Knives wouldn’t be as obsessed with him…*tugs at collar* Ahhhhh the angst and sibling jealousy! Legato! Razlo was INDEED getting the Super Mario Bros’ treatment haha!! I love the Livio/Elendira ship! And yes, Himbo vs. Queen – ahhhh, that fakeout with the doublespread was SO BRUTAL AND CRUEL - how dare they! I was 100% convinced! Thank you for the comment and kind words! I’m really sad that we’re finishing Trigun Maximum but still excited that we have Stargaze to look forward to!

2025-07-13 14:18:02 +0000 UTCLoved the reaction and discussion! 🥰 The penultimate volume – so bittersweet. 🥺 Regarding a potential Stargaze retcon: “We all know that’s probably not going to happen.” I personally am choosing denial. 😀 All the ink splatter and darkness on the page over Vash in this volume was heartbreaking. Legato’s panels in the beginning were very clean in comparison. Loved all the Vash vs Legato chapters! And the comparisons of their ideologies in the discussion. I also think there’s definitely an element in the end of Legato wanting to take out Vash to take him away from Knives – which overpowers the initially more prominent desire to take out Vash to please Knives. Razlo getting the Super Mario Bros treatment was hilarious. 😂 Honestly, my Livio/Elendira ship continues to live! 😂 I adore how much of them we got and love their himbo-vs-queen dynamic. I also had to walk away from the… ‘head-centred’ double-spread – really got faked out, so cruel. Looking forward to the next volume! ❤️
