Adachi and Kurosawa are going on their first date! What does Kurosawa have in mind and will Adachi be able to handle it all?! Just when I think this series cannot get any better, it just keeps ramping up the emotions, the charm, and the subversions to my expectations and I am LIVING for it! Let's GO!

Oh thank you so much! I was really happy with how it turned out! I’ll have to do a “tour” video at some point to show it off better! There are so many AOT comparisons that falling down the rabbit hole is so easy, not that I mind of course! 😀 The musical number is AMAZING - I’m obsessed with that scene and Adachi’s reaction! Thank you! And for it all being in Kurosawa’s head is great - and showing he’s goofy too, YES! And that Adachi knows that now! The staff and everyone know they’re on a date - they are fooling NO ONE. I definitely agree the one trope is very realistic and fits his character so well! And yes, Kurosawa got ahead of himself and YESSS I’m glad Adachi spoke up as well! And the way Kurosawa reacted (and that Adachi got to see that) worked so well in this episode - I loved it! Adachi also taking initiative is so sweet; I loved that growth for him as a character! I agree, this episode took my own anxieties for all the miscommunication and gave me gifts of sweetness between them! It’s so great! I would love for them to make a season 2 and am always hopeful but I am very tempted to slowly delve into the manga…we shall see. Thanks for the comment and kind words!

But yes, they are learning more about each other and that's so wonderful! Kurosawa's song, though is SOOOOO funny - the PIKACHU FACE is an apt response! 2025-06-28 13:29:51 +0000 UTCChristian Gray … I mean Kurasawa went hard on that first date 😂 Poor man just wanted to give Adachi the best first date ever but Adachi was also ok with a simple acitivity I love it, it shows that they are learning more about each other et getting maybe more comfortable with one another 🥰 And I ll never not laugh out loud when Kurasawa’s song starts.. first time I had my Pikachu face and was like what’s going on ? Then it shows it’s Kurosawa active brain doing and I lost it!! I m glad you also enjoyed that hilarious moment Amazing reaction and discussion as always ❤️

2025-06-27 20:07:08 +0000 UTCLoving your new set-up! The shelves look great. The AOT rabbit hole at the start made me laugh. There are definitely so many comparisons we could make with them. Since you starting this series (and especially after your reaction to the karaoke scene) I was anticipating your reaction to Kurosawa's internal musical number 🤣 Your reaction did not disappoint at all! I love the way they do it to make you feel like we've just randomly stepped inside a musical episode, only to discover that it was all inside Kurosawa's head. Also I feel like this shows that Kurosawa can be just as goofy as Adachi 🥰 A hundred percent agree that leaning in like that and whispering into Adachi's ear isn't gonna hide anything from the staff member of the clothes store. I do love that while this anime does avoid a lot of tropes common in BLs that we do still get the trope of one character being cautious about how they are in public, and how random strangers view them. It's one of the tropes I've found to be on the more realistic side for some LGBTQ+ people who are very hesitant about being visibly "out" when in public. It just adds to Adachi's overall self-deprecating manner. The helicopter ride (for a FIRST DATE) was definitely a tad too far Kurosawa. But I am glad that Adachi felt comfortable enough and spoke up about not being able to handle it. And also that Kurosawa immediately accepted it and wasn't annoyed or upset that this changed his plans. Instead Kurosawa was only upset with himself for not noticing Adachi's response to the helicopter 🥺 Felt so proud of Adachi for taking the initiative by asking out Kurosawa and planning a second date for them as his response to easing Kurosawa's anxiety. It's such a sweet way to ease Kurosawa's mind, and shows Adachi's courage is growing 🥰 And to follow it up with some healthy verbal communication?? 😍 Then give us hand-holding on the second date/seventh episode...this show is a definite gift that just keeps giving. I knew it'd be one you'd have a fun time with and fangirl over all the sweet romantic moments between them 😁 Unfortunately with the way BL anime have been in recent years I'd sadly say they may not make a Season 2 😢
