Season 6 is on a roll so far and this episode just keeps it going! Natsume is hesitant to get involved with an important yokai who is looking for his former student -- the theme callbacks, the showing of Natsume's growth, and the emotion you come to expect from Natsume's Book of Friends - this series is aging like a fine wine and I'm so here for it!

Another masterful episode which showcases parallels to Natsumeโs potential experience so well. ๐ฅฐ Various things I loved: Love how Natsume knew the immediate shortcut to redirect the boysโ attention โ the promise of a burger! That would work on me. ๐ โQuit making out in the bushes mid-ranks!โ ๐คฃ Madaraโs actually excellent drawing skills and how so much of the episode itself was about โdrawing,โ even with interstitial frames. Completely agree with everything in the discussion around how massive it is for Natsume to make decision for his own benefit! Also, the point around exorcists creating problems due to the ignorance borne of their methods and outlook on yokai. And I wonder for how many exorcists thereโs also a layer of just drumming up business. Looking forward to next week! ๐
