I love Ryo so much!! She’s great and her humor is wonderful! I love that moment of Bocchi realizing she has friends and what that means to her - I love that’s such a huge step for her! I love Nijika and how caring and affectionate she is towards Bocchi! Nijika is definitely the friend you would WANT to have, so I understand that attraction towards her as a character! And hahahaha - Bocchi was just so sure their dog could go! I mean..why not?! 😛 And yes, ticket sales can be such a pressure! Thank you for the comment and kind words!

2025-05-21 20:02:18 +0000 UTCI had nearly forgotten how funny this show truly is. And Ryo is hilarious. The moment that most stays with me in this episode is Bocchi not shinning because of herself, but because now she has friends that depend on her. She was always looking for that, for friends and a community to be a part of, and seeing her shine now that she's found it, is truly beautiful. That being said, seeing Nijika check on Bocchi to make sure that she didn't half forced her into doing something that she didn't truly want, specially after seeing Bocchi's personality, is what makes me love Nijika so much and have her as my favorite character. She's so very kind, but in a very fierce way that I like a lot. Which is sort of funny, me having NIjika as my favorite character, as my personality is NOTHING like hers, as I was someone painfully shy as a kid, though not to Bocchi's level, although I've grown a little more comfortable with my own skin and at least able to fend myself in social interactions with age. I love how Bocchi just immediately assumes that the parents will want to bring their *dog* to the concert *lol* she's just desperate to not have to sell those tickets... and I can't blame her1 Having to sell something like that is nervewracking.

2025-05-20 00:19:20 +0000 UTCI always took it that Kita's attraction to Ryo was supposed to come off as a bit overly obsessive, hence Bocchi's 'not okay' thought. Seiko's 'Making a memory' comment, I wonder if that was a test of Nijika's commitment to the band.
