The battle with Livio/Razlo, Chapel, and Wolfwood reaches a fever pitch...and no one is walking away unscathed! I was NOT READY for this volume, y'all!

Thank you so much for the kind words and comment! I still want to be in Delulu Land after this one, though volume 11 has helped me process, oddly enough! Wolfwood is just resting on that couch - that’s exactly right! This volume was INSANE, though! Vash becoming a *literal* angel is so beautiful! And YES, Vash and Wolfwood are one of my favorite duos, for *sure!* Although, Volume 11 will up my love of Livio to an…ahem…extent! Vash’s wish - I love how the interpretation is so *open.* I think that it could definitely be Vash being selfish for ONCE and wanting Wolfwood to be spared, or for him to want Wolfwood to at the very least - know he made a difference and was loved in his last moments. But also, Vash not being able to fake a smile - just cuts me to my CORE. UGH. Nightow does NOT let us rest easy, that’s for certain. Razlo/Livio like Wen Ning? Okay, now you’re getting to me! XD :’) Wen Ning might WISH though, with Livio in this latest volume! ;) I don’t know when I’ll eat spaghetti next, but I might be in the same boat as well!

Wolfwood is just having a rest on that couch. 😅 Also, maybe it is just the break between volumes + the content itself, but this one was so brutal visually - more so, I feel, than previous volumes. Various moments I loved: Adore Vash becoming more and more of a literal angel in the way he is drawn – the feathers stopping bullets?! Come on. Delightful to hear that the Vash/Wolfwood duo is so high on your list! 🥰 Them doing their little circus act right in front of Razlo!Livio, it was funny but also... poor thing. “Oh, there’s a grenade with a knife – that’s not good.” 😂 What was Vash’s wish: I really like your interpretation, that it would have been a wish on behalf of Nicolas, very in-character. For me, I am of two minds. In one way, I do think he was asking for Nicolas to be spared. Vash actively refuses ‘selfish’ choices (and completely barrels into self-sacrificing ones instead) – so I see him viewing this as the ONE time he allows himself some ""selfishness."" The other way (which is maybe more in line with the characterisation of his self-sacrificing tendencies) – was to be granted the strength to fulfil Nicolas’ final request. Nicolas asks Vash for a smile and yet in that moment Vash cannot bring himself to give him that. 😭 Nightow just does not let us rest. 😭 Also, I have just finished MDZS S2 and the Razlo!Livio moments were giving me Wen Ning vibes (who is now my most precious bean). 🥺 Looking forward to the next volume! 🖤 (And I guess crying the next time I eat some spaghetti 😭)
