Auntie Nyan Nyan - From idea to finished drawing
Added 2024-01-27 23:26:15 +0000 UTCThis commissioned artwork required a lot of work and sometimes experimentation during the process; I decided to share the WIPs from the different stages. 1st picture - draft made by the commissioner Lucky, showing his vision of the idea - his OC in the clutches of domineering Nyanlathotep(from 'Sucker for Love' dating sim) 2nd and 3rd pictures - my rough sketches of the idea. First one follows the commissioner's draft, second one was made as more experimental angle for consideration. 4th, 5th pictures - after Lucky had chosen the second sketch, the work began on lineart, colors and background. 6th, 7th pictures - minor detail adjustment; further work focused on shading and complex lighting: the room is dark, with two sources of dim light - Nyan's eye and candles at the summoning circle! 8th, 9th - addition of overlays and colored lineart. The artwork is almost complete~ 10th picture - alternative variant featuring Nyan's monologue - written by Lucky!
