This will be the final "manga" review for the Season 2 content, as we complete the first "arc" of season 3 and show - you are bound and determined to tug on my heart strings with child Natsume, aren't you?!
We get a glimpse into Natsume's hard time trying to make friends and deal with the yokai pestering him -- but the lesson of growing up, building bridges, and reconnecting with those that you had complications in the past with was a great tie-in from last week's episode! I love the sweetness of this one!

The Little Fox is SO SWEET and ALONGSIDE EGGY?! Cuteness overload - seriously, it IS therapy! Just pop this in! :) Kai and Eggy are great choices! I love that Toko has this moment to connect with Natsume, but like many teenagers, it doesn't always click perfectly in that moment! And "needy Madara" is a fun Madara for us the audience! The yokai kitten cuddling was just that serotonin boost I needed! And yes, I want to protect Natsume at all cost! With Natsume going high and trying to do the right and kind thing; he's such an inspiration and I love him for it! Thank you for the comment and kind words! SO excited for the episodes to come! :P

Revisiting the Little Fox in the manga was just wonderful โ between that and Eggy, the manga reviews are full of therapy for me. ๐ Necessary before watching this episode, to be honest. Thatโs a great selection for favourite season 2 episodes - mine for S2 remain Kai and Eggy: industrial grade cuteness. ๐ฅฐ Lots of little moments I loved in this episode: the moment of Toko recalling a painful memory from her childhood and it flying completely over Natsumeโs little self-deprecating head. Madara being extra cute and needy. Sleeping with the carelessly thrown hand-me-down coat. Cuddling the yokai-kitty so carefully. Also, these have been a series of episodes where my protectiveness over Natsume goes into complete overdrive. ๐ญ โNever stoops down to their levelโ The strength Natsume has is quite astonishing, I agree. And then Natsume goes: โMy name is Takashi Natsume โ would it be okay if I knew yours, too?โ We live through some really painful memories of his and he is just happy to say hello to a yokai-friend he hasnโt seen in a while, asks for permission to know the name! Looking forward to next week! ๐
