Happy New Year! 

Well, saying that feels strange. So much has changed over the last year and so much has stayed exaaaactly the same. But here we are!! I hope 2021 is better for us than 2020—the bar is very low.

Thanks! This Patreon is 5 years old. I started it December 2015 and since then have received more support than I ever could have imagined. I am so grateful for this! I cannot spell out how the support of Patrons has helped me since graduate school. You've paid my rent. You gave me huge jolts of excitement with each piece of artwork. You've left comments on posts that have made my day.

Even though I'm no longer making Check, Please! I hope you're getting something out of this little corner of the internet! It always bears repeating that if you no longer wish to support this page, or simply cannot, no worries and thank you! As I get older and my art and storytelling changes, I realize that I cannot produce as much frantic fandom-consumable art as I did while making Check, Please! I appreciate all support, past, present, and future. You guys rock!

What Will This Year Hold?

Project Yesenia. GRAPHIC NOVELS TAKE A LOT OF TIME. I'll be penciling and inking this one all year. I'll be able to share pages.....eventually! I created a short video previewing the first dozen pages. Check it out here. 

Check, Please: Year Four Kickstarter. Coming this Spring! I've already drawn the cover and figured out planning with George, so we're hoping for a smooth, lowkey launch...!

Madison. Slowly chipping away at this comic. It'd be great to finish this spring. PLEASE. Let these boys kiss.

Teaching / Freelance / Writing. I'm doing another digital coloring workshop with The Center for Cartoon Studies this January and I'm also submitting cartoons at The New Yorker.
