2025-05-08 23:47:35 +0000 UTCThrough Naruto's mind and feelings, Hiruzen learned that Asuma died. It's a moment where nobody ever brought up. Just look at Hiruzen's face after the Asuma flashback/funeral is shown, the dude is clearly hurt over learning his son is dead.

2025-05-08 05:59:46 +0000 UTCIdk if yall realized but 1). The 3rd Hokage seeing Asuma in Naruto memories was him realizing his son is now dead. 2). If the reason everyone could see Naruto memories was because of his chakra/ino jutsu that means sasuke also was seeing it as well. Which implies how he reacted to get Naruto out of his funk.

2025-05-08 05:13:03 +0000 UTCThere are several takeaways from Hashirama's flashback about the first summit. The first Tsuchikage is Onoki's grandfather whom he inherited his stubborn behavior from. His bodyguard is Mu the underhanded null man who became the second. The first Kazekage treated the summit like a business meeting and seemed to place a value on things. For instance, he demanded land in exchange. This mentality was passed down to Gaara's father who used gold dust for his village's currency. The first Kazekage resembles Gaara's father and his bodyguard, the one with the dragon tattoo who became the second, resembles Kankuro. This implies that the position of Kazekage is hereditary and passed down from relative to relative, unlike the Hokage who is elected by the villagers. The first Raikage resembles Jimi Hendrix and his verbal tic likely inspired Killer B's rap. His bodyguard, the one with the weird mohawk, became the second. All the Raikage were called A and their tag team partners were called B, implying that Killer B is moniker and his true name is unknown. The cloud village is the only one who has black characters. Killer B is a caricature of a rapping black man whose name likely comes from Mohammad Ali's quote "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee." The last one is the most glaring. The first Mizukage who resembles Gandalf from Lord of the Rings, was the one who accused Hashirama of having ulterior motives. Ironically, he was the one who had turned his village into a hermit state with secretive internal policies. Notice who his bodyguard standing right beside was. It was not the second Mizukage, the loveable trollkage a.k.a. Jokey Boy. It was a long black-haired shinobi who resembled Orochimaru. It was never revealed who Orochi's parents were other than that they died when he was still a child. If this bodyguard was in fact Orochimaru's father, then Orochimaru was a refugee from the mist village where he got his treacherous serpentine mentality from. This bodyguard was likely intended to succeed the first Mizukage. However, the trollkage became the second. Given his friendly and charismatic nature, he likely turned the mist village into a stable yet peaceful democracy. But his death at the hands of Mu meant that his influence waned. The bodyguard soon took over as the third and likely became a despot who had converted the village into what was known as the "Bloody Mist Village."
