And he was also being honest about those 3 not being able to make him sweat from their power. At this point it seems his problem with Naruto is strength but later on it is shown to be sth else.

In the real world Itachi is an FBI agent who eliminates a native american extended family because they have been spied on and have anti american views. He erases them all, children included. He also does MK ultra experiments on his brother to make him a better person... I love Itachi but I also love Madara knowing he is a villain. There is a category of people who love Itachi as a character but consider him evil-adjacent and I think the mix up happens right there. The character is cool, maybe his actions aren't. You view it in the naruto lens, some view it in the democratic lens and it gets twisted. Motivations may be different for example but ultimately Itachi follows Danzo's plans... And Danzo is a monster.

The worst part about flashbacks or fillers back in the day was that we simply didn't know when they would come or how long they would go on for. That was probably the worst part about Naruto. You never knew what you were tuning in for. New viewers can choose to skip that and it is a blessing.

2025-02-07 03:41:09 +0000 UTCWhile it's a great edit, and yes, I get that some of the flashbacks can be redundant, you must remember that this was a weekly show. Sometimes, the show would skip a week or two (due to sports or something or another major event being shown in Japan).) There were also whole arcs done to fill out the backstory for some characters. The timing for these episodes was not great. Most of this was done so the manga could stay ahead. So those (like myself) who watched these live had to sometimes wait almost three months before it would come back around to the cannon content. So they sometimes would replay parts of the last episode of Canon to bring you back into the fold. Some episodes would replay something you would see just 10 minutes in the same episode as a flashback to the character. This was a style of bringing emotion to what the characters were feeling at the time. The same way you would remember something that just happened that emotionally hit you. It's a double-edged sword, while it worked for a live run, to keep behind the manga and to pad out some episodes, it hurts when you are essentially binge-watching it. That's not to say some of the filler stuff is kind of bad. I honestly don't think 330 has a lot of filler or flashbacks; they were simply to backtrack and show this is what happened while that was happening. Now the next episode is just all flashbacks, I agree, I honestly recommend simply watching all the episodes without editing them (cutting out flashbacks). But you can skip filler arcs because most of them don't add to the story other than adding some more backstory to some characters, but aren't something you need for the war arc for the point to get across.

Itachi the master of tsukuyomi, which is a testament to his unparalleled ability to manipulate and deceive through his theatrical illusions. Sasuke, the master of amatarasu, which reflects his burning hatred for those who have wronged him and desire to incinerate those who stand in his way. Like the black flames, his hatred may never be extinguished. And finally, madara, the master of susanoo. The massive entity summoned from his eyes is an extension of his God status and haughty demeanor. it demonstrates how unstoppable he is and his desire to subjugate all those he deems beneath him.

2025-02-06 21:06:47 +0000 UTCTo answer your discussion about people "not liking itachi" obviously there's a lot of people who don't like him because of what he did to his clan but I think a large majority of the people that "dislike" him, more or less dislike the hardcore itachi fans who glaze him soo sooo hard. those fans will always make up hypothetical battles to compare itachi to other characters and will have the most outrageous takes and will swear itachi can practically beat everyone on naruto with the exception of naruto himself . He's just a very very overrated character and rightfully so he's a great character in naruto but good God he gets glazed so hard and people will swear he is capable of beating everyone

Unfortunately, the further you get into the war arc, the more "hybrid/canon" episodes you will encounter. 2025-02-06 16:46:32 +0000 UTCHe would still need to fake his death or escape somehow in either scenario. He had the means to kill Hashi if he truly wanted to, but it would come at great risk. He could've wired the Izanagi contingency to avoid being stabbed and counter with his own attack right on the spot. The issue is that even if he pulled this off, he'd be drained of what little chakra he had left and one of his eyes would be rendered useless. The likely outcome is he passes out, his body is discovered and killed on sight, especially if someone like Tobirama shows up. Madara in his condition would not be able to escape him.

Manipulation, deception, control. Most villains are guilty of this. He even used these tactics on himself to get free from Kabuto's control, which was very clever. He said he failed because he realized that there was a better approach to accomplish what he was after. It's the duality in his character that's so interesting to me.

The only canon that you missed in 330 was halfway through there's a Tobi scene where he starts sweating against Naruto and blames the rain. It's nothing too consequential but I think its a really cool scene. Also in 331 Suigetsu admits his reason for sticking around Taka is to break up Sasuke and Karin because all he likes doing is chopping everything in half and Jugo calls him reprehensible hahaha

Deep down, he wanted so badly to acknowledge Sasuke as he was passing by, but as usual, he completely buries his emotions and locks in on the task at hand. After all, there are things happening that are bigger than both of them.

Itachi could still turn him back on the right path. If Sasuke continues down this path of hatred, he will undoubtedly become something far worse than Madara ever will be. He awakened the EMS at earlier age than Madara so he has far more potential.
