Man I gotta give it to dub Pain on this one… Shinra Tensei lacked the deep feeling of dread in what was coming for me. I think that’s more on the actor here of course. You could speak those words in a way that conveys deep anguish and make it great.

2024-08-02 00:28:50 +0000 UTCWhen I first saw Shippuden I believe the anime was only maybe like 30 episodes past this. So I saw this in Sub. This is how I really like hearing it. Troy Baker is incredible and one of the best voice actors around and famous ones too. (Joel/pain/Captian yamato/so many characters). However "almighty push"...just sounds odd compared to "SHRINA TENSEI!" ya know? However I will always rewatch it in dub because the dub always means so much to me with the voices, and when I watch other anime with the same voice actors/actress' I can always tell who it is. And voice acting is always so beyond important to me to always give credit to everyone involved. Subbed and dub ya know?

2024-08-01 21:32:01 +0000 UTCI do agree with the whole "dub vs sub" debate. I honestly prefer to watch dubbed versions, but I can understand why some people would prefer subbed. I do think Sakura's Japanese "Please, Naruto" line sounded a bit better than dubbed though.
