But it's always against people like Kakashi, Sasuke, Itachi and Naruto. Deidara was able to take out Gaara single-handedly. His C4 jutsu is one of the most OP in the show. And i think Kishimoto liked his character, as he keeps him around for a long time.

2024-06-01 14:42:53 +0000 UTCa few points , sasori didnt die an early death he was actually 55 years old but he looked young because that was around the time he became a puppet and stopped aging , also deidara isnt reckless at all he is actually very calculated but sasuke is just simply better and has the sharingan , thirdly his beef with itachi isnt what you think its pretty much because he made deidara question his own art which he believe was true art and by seeing sasukes sharingan he believes that theyre are just lucky to be in the uchiha clan instead of showing humility and not realising that he still has room to grow and is fighting base of his talent alone. Basically just making excuses for his inadequicy.
