Kakashi couldn't leave Naruto alone for 2 reasons. The second reason being the risk of the Akatsuki abducting Naruto. The main reason is because Naruto is on the verge of losing control. Jiraiya warned Kakashi about what happens when Naruto loses himself to the 9 Tails power and tasked Kakashi to prevent that from happening. Even if Naruto beat Deidara, if he were to do it at the cost of letting the 9 Tails take over, the results would be even more catastrophic. That's why Kakashi had no choice but to stay with Naruto.

Not a Sakura fan but this is one of the best fights in Naruto imo. The strategy, suspense, and choreography. Chiyo, Sakura, and Sasori really but to thrown down. I'm not ashamed to say I was waiting for this fight. Also, I always wondered how strong Chiyo was in her prime. In the words of Kankuro, "And now...Let's have a puppetshow!!!"

Your comment on the 3rd being Gaaras dad is incorrect. The 4th kazekage was gaaras father and if I remember correctly he gets killed by orochimaru before impersonating as the 4th kazekage during the sound invasion of the leaf. The 3rd was never mentioned until recently. Good reaction otherwise!
