Changes To The Patreon

Howdy! If any of you guys have checked the page or tiers within the last day or so, you've probably noticed quite a few changes. The big one I probably should address first- no more monthly builds. I know this is why quite a few of you are here, but our development cycle has changed a lot in the past couple of years. Before Patreon was our sole way of distributing the game- but since then, Steam has become an increasingly large part of the pipeline. Monthly build requirements end up hurting development for two reasons-

1. We're forced to rush out a build that we might not have as much time to test, resulting in a lower quality Patreon release.

2. There is pressure on us to release a build even on months where we don't have a fully working updated build ready yet.

For Spooky Starlets, since the big update is behind us, we don't think this will be an issue going forward. But for new titles such as Dungeon Tavern- well, it will be a while until we have enough to properly show off to you guys. So, some tiers of Patrons will still be able to access preview builds- however they will be whenever we have something ready to show. Otherwise the main focus for accessing finished and early access games will be Steam.

As such, we've updated the Patreon to reflect this. If you want to support the games we make and get extra little bonuses for it- then the Patreon is here with extra goodies and downloads. If you want to actually play the finished, polished, releases- then check out Steam. If you want an early sneak peek at games & game content not ready for Steam yet, then we have a tier for that- but that will not be the main focus of this Patreon.

We hope that this new format allows us to better deliver on the promises we're making to you, the Patrons, and that you will stick around, even if at a limited capacity, as we move forward towards finishing up Spooky Starlets and working on Dungeon Tavern!
