WELCOME TO THE UNDERCROFT- Maps and Dialogue
Added 2019-08-23 15:01:01 +0000 UTCOur $1000 goal is to add story vignettes to the game, actually allowing players to talk to the starlets, learn more about them, and grow closer to them!
While we haven't hit that goal quite yet- we've been certainly considering it as we come closer towards that goal. To this end, we've begun working on some of the back-end elements in preparation.

The new "genre" currencies at the lower left were the first step in this- now I'm able to reveal the next step, the Undercroft map screen!
After you make a film we want players to be able to choose from a selection of starlets on a map screen, clicking on one of these starlets starts a short story vignette featuring that character and location. The idea is heavily inspired by Monster Prom- though of course the rest of the game is still focused around constructing films.
