Spooky Starlets On Steam!
Added 2019-07-06 14:30:59 +0000 UTCHey there guys, exciting update! We've gotten Spooky Starlets approved and with a coming soon page up on Steam! The time frame listed on the page, Winter 2019, is a rough goal but by no means set in stone yet.
To get this clear out of the gate- patrons will continue to receive the latest versions of the game, even after the steam release. The steam release will just be an alternative source to purchase the game once it is complete enough to stand-alone. I will look into allowing Patrons who pledge before the game goes live to be able to receive a Steam copy as well when it officially launches.
Once the main portion of the game is done, Patrons will continue to receive the latest updates and content as a part of their pledge. However since Patreon is a monthly commitment- the being a Patron will continue to reward additional benefits and content- some which cannot be gained through the Steam version.
In addition, the Steam version may have additional updates come out as paid DLC, again to keep parity with Patreon pledging. We're not certain on the specifics yet and want to work with you guys to come to something that's fair, but we hope you guys are as excited as Spooky Starlets continues to become more polished!
