Damon only loves her, he’s willing you sacrifice anything and everyone for her. And while Damon’s all consuming love is appealing and swoon worthy on TV, in real life you’d want someone who loves every aspect of you. Someone who wants to do right by you, your family, your goals, your friends. (This is as up to where they’ve watched so don’t come up here bringing up other things and spoiling stuff). LOVE YOUR REACTION ❤️

Elena trust Damon with her life . An Stephen trust Damon with her life . Stephen wants to see good in Damon . An Elena sees the good parts in Damon as well .

Stephen tries to make peace an hope for things to get better . Mason in wolf form can't really control who he goes after . With vampires being the enemy. Damon has to stay ahead of threats . He just likes to get stuff done . There's no surviving a Wolf bite . An we don't know if Mason is being honest .

Mason offered his hand in peace during a time where they already have more problems than they can handle and yet Damon thought it made sense to try and kill him??? We don’t know what wolves weakness are or what they’re capable of so picking a fight probably isn’t the greatest idea rn

Like Mason is such a cool dude, but there goes those Damon's heightened vamp emotions of Impulsiveness and trust issues peaking its head again. Yh this whole thing still makes me mad watchin it again lol but on the other hand the slow reveals as the lore builds up is Amazing. I can't wait until stuff starts REALLY PICKING UP soon. And Tay FR FR, Katherine is soooooo messy. Baddest bih in this bih with the MIND GAMES, SCHEMES, PLANS GALORE, RUTHLESS PERSONA etc. Y'all aint see nuffin yet lol. Honestly im gonna sound like a broken record in this comment section over the series but I cannot stop singing the praises of Nina Dobrev (Elena & Katherine actress) for doing them so distinctly that you actually believe they are 2 separate people. PROPS!! And towards the end of the ep, that was such a smart play by Stefan and Elena to outwit Caroline and Damon, literally all reactors fall for the trap of them actually fighting as did I lol only to be revealed its a play.

2025-11-08 15:34:48 +0000 UTCThe Damon and mason storyline is hard to judge without all the context but from this episode it looked like mason didn’t want trouble and Damon just created an enemy for absolutely no reason right now!! Still I can understand Damon point of view soo it’s hard to say if he was wrong or not. Personally I would have accepted mason truce and still kept an eye on him and what’s he is really doing in mystic falls without making him my enemy until I’d know for sure what he was up to. Not the smartest planning from Damon😬

Compare it to S1 and the diffrence is crazy. But I hate the lack of Bonnie in soo many episodes you can clearly see the writers didn’t know what to do with her character at this time🤷🏾♂️ still S2 is my second favourite season of the show and it’s electric from episode 1 to the finale
