Update: Sigh...The Ban Hammer Is Real

Okay, I don't know if a few people took it as a challenge, or maybe they thought I was lying about the comments still being monitored, or maybe they thought I didn't mean it about the ban hammer, or maybe they wanted to throw me off my game again...But, let me assure you, the ban hammer is real.

An individual decided to up their game and attack me directly in a comment. I wont go into all the details. All I'll say is that I'm not a dictator. I can't make anyone sign up for this Patreon. I offer a lot of membership tiers so people can pick based on their financial circumstances. At no point in the process can I force people sign up for the higher cost tiers. Nor is anyone permanently locked into a tier.

And, to apply a little realism here, the most expensive tier I offer that isn't capped is $15 a month. That's about 2-3 cups of coffee at Starbucks. Or a dozen donuts at Dunkin' Donuts. It's probably less than what it costs for one person to have one meal at any place that's a single step up from a fast food joint (at least where I live). Since I go for the low fat content hamburger, that's about enough for me to get a pound of hamburger and gallon of almond milk (lactose intolerance blows, by the way). If you're more fat tolerant than I am, maybe you can get two pounds of hamburger and a gallon of milk.

Maybe it's ego on my part, but I like to think that, over the course of any given month, I provide at least the equivalent value in entertainment of three cups of coffee at Starbucks or a dozen donuts. The big takeaway here is that, yes, I did drop the ban hammer on them. No, there was no back and forth discussion. They're just gone. Lifetime ban. While I may not like doing it, I will. I'm hoping that I won't have to do it again anytime soon.
