Final Con-Plague Post

Okay, the con-plague seems to have worked its way out of my system after several days of not doing much but sleeping. My attempts to write yesterday were...less than stellar. Here's a representative sample of what it was like:

The big bloody mess was messy. It made Sen scowl...scowlingly. The people fluttering around him like fluttery birds also made him scowl...scowlingly. Sen put on his extra-mean mean face and scowled around, which made the flutter-people stop fluttering.

I'll admit, it wasn't quite that hyperbolically bad, but it also didn't have the humor value of the above either. However, I did managed to stumble my way to the end of a chapter of Baron Assassin, which I posted. It's probably not my best work, having been written in fits and starts over the course of a week, but it is at least more coherent than the mess above. Getting through 500 or 600 words consecutively and and all at one time does seem to have gotten my writing brain back in gear, though. So, I expect to resume normal operations/posting come Monday.
