News: Moved to a new place. Development on paper is important too.

It may seem like the development on the game slowed down a little, but really it's not true, here is why:

Despite that I just finished moving to another apartment (bigger one, without roommate, and a cheaper for rent) I've been mostly busy on designing, doing lots and lots of writing, and figuring stuff out. While it's nothing spectacular to show, it's absolutely essential for the game development. I still have a lot of ideas that need to write down and make sure all the features and systems work together, so when combined they will provide fun and immersive gameplay that you guys will want to dive into!

Compared to the game I was originally going for, it's much more evolved now, all thanks to your feedback. Switching to 3d camera changed a lot of things, more than just perspective. I needed to take time to do a step back and re-plan everything, but I really like what I've come up with now. The new ideas are much closer to the "dream game" that I always wanted to make, yet, it's not too ambitious and beyond our capabilities.

Before doing that I couldn't imagine that things like item crafting, character simulation, and weather systems could be so closely dependent on each other. I'm not designing the usual "recipe-based" crafting or "hunger-bar" systems like you can see in many other survival games, I took a completely different approach... and so far it looks awesome xD Can't wait to share more info about all that with you guys, which I will probably do in the next video (jeez that video is going to be huge, I will have to talk a lot...). 

But anyway, while doing all that, I also took some time to think about the music direction the game should have, and in the following post I wanted to show you a small portion from the design document just about that plus some lore.

Huge thanks for supporting me this month! I have to apologize that I maybe couldn't spend as much of the precious time working on the game last week because I was moving to a new apartment, doing repairs in a super-rush mode, cleaning, and shuffling stuff around. I wanted to be done with this process as quickly as possible, but I think it still took too much... Oh well, sometimes I wish my consciousness was uploaded into a robotic body, plugged in some cool server system, where I could work on things without IRL interferences... I wouldn't become GladOS, I promise :}

Also, important note about the rewards: please don't forget to send me messages about your rewards that you want to see in game. We don't have nearly enough pictures and text messages for the whole gallery idea!
