Medieval Age

Lasting between the end of the Iron Age and the beginning of the Modern Age in Bugearth's history, the Medieval Age was marked by the Unification of Kingdoms, explorations and mainly by the first encounters of some species of Bugs, which sometimes did not occur peacefully.

In the Iron Age, the Bugs discovered the potential of building devices, tools and metal weapons, but in the Medieval Age they finally put their discoveries into practice, mainly in terms of warfare. From the construction of the first vehicles, pulled by animals or the wind, the improvement of forging techniques and, of course, the evolution of the manufacture of weapons and armor.

The Scorpions of Lacrau, taking the lead in the technological race as usual, took a step further, adding to their arsenal the first firearms equipped with the recently discovered black powder made with resources taken from the mines of the Naveen mountain range.
