Poll: Revision of Starwatch's time system

Good day cadets!

We're currently working on the next update 0.3.10 for Starwatch. As we are about to introduce massive changes to the game with version 0.4.0, there is one topic that has been heavily discussed among the team over the past few days, which is how time works in the game.

Some content automatically unlocks after a set amount of days has passed. We don't think that's a problem as it was designed to prevent getting overwhelmed with content as more and more piles up.

The one thing we are currently thinking about is getting rid of the importance of days of the week. At the moment, some encounters require to find a character in a specific location at a specific time on a specific day of the week. Although the hint system helps with that, we feel it is a frustrating experience as in some cases it requires waiting for an entire in game week to make any progress on a quest or a character's storyline.

In that spirit, we are considering compressing the way the days of the week work and instead changing the encounters to be accessed on a daily basis. We could leave a few weekend specific events, but in general our objective would be to have the characters be available at a location in a predictable way every day of the week rather than the current convoluted day based system.

As our players, we feel that ultimately this decision should be yours. Perhaps we are mistaken and you like this more realistic approach, but perhaps you share our feelings about this system and would welcome its simplification.
