Hey everyone!
Apologies for the lack of update last week. We're in a slightly difficult situation and we had to take a moment to figure out how to move forward, which I will get to in a moment.
Our writer went missing about two weeks ago, shortly after informing us he was sick. Figuring out what happened turned out to be a difficult task. We've managed to get in touch two days ago and learn that he's been involved in a fairly significant car accident and is currently at the hospital.
My understanding is that it is no longer a life threatening situation, but it will take some time for him to recover. Our thoughts and prayers are with him for a swift and complete recovery.
As you may guess, losing the writer, even temporarily, is among the worst possible things that can happen when working on a text based game. While art can be replaced with placeholders and features can be delayed if need be, when you don't have the story to move forward, it's extremely problematic.
Therefore, we're shifting our short term efforts in order to continue delivering content to you.

In the latest updates, we've been talking about our side project Silent Echo. Our writer was not involved in this project, which allowed us to continue working on it without issue.
In that spirit, we (myself and the artist) are focusing our immediate efforts on this project in order to be able to deliver you something to play in March. It has grown quite significantly over the past weeks and we've been working harder than ever to ensure there's as much content and things to do in the game as possible.
We're extremely happy with the results and how the game is shaping up, and we're looking forward to share the first beta with you next week.
Until we know how and when we can move forward with Starwatch Academy, we will be delivering updates on this new project. We're doing the best we can with the cards we're dealt with and we hope you'll find this new project as interesting and entertaining as Starwatch has been.
Have fun out there!
