A wish to be of abundant use to her beloved Robin can be easily misinterpreted since 'use' can mean all manner of functions. From magical defender to... well, simply offering release... Though Robin wouldn't find much use in her ironically, given his discomfort in such toys. However, that was a non-issue, as after her metamorphosis, Tharja became lost to the caravan, her whereabouts and company unknown.
