Some project news

0.14 will be 1.0 and last for KBM.

For those who have been subscribed for a long time or are in our discord, this is not news, but I will write again. The main Plot for Kidnapped by the Mistress was written and thought out from the beginning. I originally planned to fit the story of Mary, the main character, and his sister into 7-9 chapters, but I ended up needing 14. And I don't want to intentionally stretch out the story by filling it with unnecessary scenes for fear of losing an audience that wants more.

Kidnapped by the Mistress is my first project, on which I practiced and tested different approaches. Today, when I look at the first chapters, I have the urge to delete and redo everything, I notice poor graphics settings, coliseums, broken bones and failure to follow the golden ratio. In that regard, I hope KBM does a good job of showcasing my growth as an author.

I've also analyzed my strengths, weaknesses, and aspects that critics have written to me. I realized a lot of things and will try to take them into consideration, but if you wanted to say something, now is the best time.

KBM will have a sequel

However, even though I'm determined to end the story the way I originally planned, I can't just drop it. I have a bunch of ideas, scenes, and plot bases involving old characters from KBM that I'd like to realize. Right now I'm mulling over what the sequel will look like, whether it will be a linear novel or a game with more choices or maybe even an open world game. I'm also mulling over what to do with fetishes, whether to avoid them when writing the story, or to allow players to avoid them through gameplay methods, or just allow them to be skipped. And of course I think about how to tell a new story, whether to keep the main character, whether to create a new main character, or whether to make a story without a main character. All in all, there's a lot to think about, and so I don't want to say anything in advance other than "don't worry, the story will counitue".

Kidnapped Isekai Story can't get released due to lack of time

KIS is my second project, which is very different from KBM in terms of story, graphics, and gameplay. I released the alpha version not long ago, collected feedback and now I'm slowly fixing bugs and working on the new version. According to my plan, I wanted to release 0.1 KIS to the public and 0.2 KIS to the trained release on 21.10, so that there would be a pause of about 2 weeks between KBM and KIS. Unfortunately, there are 3 days left before my planned date and I realize that I'm not going to make it in time, and the number of things that need to be done is getting bigger and bigger. I don't know how to keep up with everything, but one thing I can say for sure is that KBM 1.0 has to be released on time and I definitely don't want to postpone it. So, KIS has to be postponed. However, a lot of time and money has been invested in KIS and I still think that this game has a huge potential and therefore I will develop it, even if it means that I have to do two parallel projects at the same time.

Slightly less spam by changing the release system slightly

Up until now, every time a new release was made available to a next tier, I created a new prost with names like "Trained/Enslaved/Kidnapped release". As a result, everyone subscribed to the trained tier got 2 messages with the version they already played. To prevent this - from now on, early versions will be released once in one post, and access to it will gradually open up over time.

I can understand. Legit argument.
