End of campaign
Added 2021-09-13 00:41:05 +0000 UTCAfter a couple of years of not reaching my goals I have finally decided to delete this patreon page. I'll be doing free comics on DeviantArt. I reached my goal last month (Not the way I wanted) but I'm struggling now. I know this month I won't be able to meet my deadline.
I still have 150 images for Cathy but I don't want to end it in the middle of a transformation. I want to end the scene. It would probably take 20, 30 images more. This patreon will be deleted before the end of this month. Nobody will be billed (except new patreons during September).
I didn't post the 150 images I had in August because I took the decision the last weekend of that month to render the images again at maxium quality to get rid of the grain. I didn't mind to give nothing because I started September with a lot of motivation and content already made.
This page has always been a complete disaster. Most of the time I couldn't meet my goals. Always running behind the clock. I have given over $31,000 in refunds, but I wish I had taken that money with me. I would have helped me a lot😔
I tried everything but nothing worked the way I wanted. Recently, a couple of bad days helped me to finally decide to delete this page. I'm truly sorry but every month is the same. There won't be more deadlines that's for sure 😔

Also German, have you considered seeing a therapist? I obviously don't know your situation, but you seem very perfectionist to me. Like taking all the time to render out 150 images and then at the last minute pull them back because you're unsatisfied with how they turned out is very emblematic of that. Have you ever considered seeing a psychologist or someone that can help you with your mental health?

I personally don't mind paying $12 a year for the convenience of just getting whatever you post show up on my patreon feed. Any chance you can post the images you already made? Or are you dead set on rerendering all of them?

There you can share your work and people can purchase it from there. There is no deadlines, or any kind of pressure. just share whenever you please and all who follow your gumroad will get an update when youve added something new to your shop. Along with that, you can alert your fans on deviant art with a few teaser images from your newest creations

As an artist i know how stressful deadlines can be especially with being faced with inconvenient life occurrences.
