Story Poll For September

Hello everyone!

Apologies for the quiet over the past few days. I had plans to post up a little more frequently over the month, but those have been waylaid somewhat by the production of the upcoming Vorevival. Creating a brand new game from scratch is a big endeavor, one that I always underestimate. There are so many things to do: crafting graphics, slumping together sounds, programming systems and making plans, amongst a thousand other things. I've been having a wonderful time with it all, but it's taking up more time and focus than I anticipated, especially since I want to push for the first release of the game to be at the end of October.

So, with that being said, I am going to responsibly pare down my plans for a bit this month to avoid burn out. This will not effect too much, but I have come to the decision that I will only be posting two stories this month instead of the planned four. Everything else is going to go on unaffected, which means that, yes, I will definitely still be posting the final bonus update for A Tiny Furry In A Huge World v1.3 at the end of this month.

I am also still writing stories in the background, it's just that I obviously can't get as much progress on them as anticipated. While I could churn out a couple of quick ones to fill in the gap, I would just rather not because, y'know, those stories wouldn't be super good. I would rather post two really good ones this month rather than four rushed ones. I'm also working on a whole bunch of big, fun stories that'll be ready to post in October, so next month should more than make up for this cut.

I apologize for making this decision around the middle of the month rather than the beginning. My excuse for this is that I'm still getting back into my work flow and figuring out my pace. My justification is... well, you've already read that, so, no need to go over that again. All I can do at this point is promise that this decision will be worth it, both for me and my upcoming work.

Too long didn't read? Okay okay, here's a summary: working very hard on Vorevival, posting two stories this month instead of four, but everything else unaffected, including the bonus content for A Tiny Furry In A Huge World v1.3 and the promised story poll. And hey, speaking of that story poll...

It's time for the story poll! Since I don't want to do game update/stuff polls until the first version of Vorevival is out in October, I'm going to be doing a story poll this month and next month in order to fill in that gap. The story that's polled this month will be posted in October, and the one next month will be posted in November.

Anyway! What's a story poll? Well, I'm going to give everyone a bunch of furry characters to vote from. Whoever gets the highest votes, well, I'll write a story about 'em! That's pretty self explanatory, right? There will also be a follow up poll to this one to decide what said story will be themed around, so like, oral vore, or paws, or butt stuff, or... you get the point, right?

Anyway! Here's the choices. I selected them entirely off whimsy and my familiarity to their canon. Ready? Go!

Wolf O' Donnell
A commanding and dangerous wolf from the Star Fox series. He's pretty cool, and pretty hot, and I can think of a bunch of fun scenarios involving him since he's well, not the nicest guy in the world.

Nargacuga
It's that monster from Monster Hunter! Vaguely pantherish, but mostly dragon. Dragon. Dragons are good, aren't they? Personally I'm a sucker for 'em, and that's why they're here! If this one wins, then their gender will be decided by the fetish-type poll, or, if like, paws wins on that one, then I'll just decide based off of like, my own personal interests at the time. EDIT: oops I spelled it wrong in the poll but you know what I mean here

Meowscarada
A sly, flirtatious roguey type who, in my mind at least, seems like they're all about teasing and playing games with people. Or with micros! Like Nargacuna, their gender will be decided at a later date. You know what franchise they're from, and goodness knows I don't like saying the franchise on here because I might violate a patent or something in doing so.

Diane Foxington
A classy fox with a mischievous streak from The Bad Guys and now I also guess The Bad Guys 2? Not seen that one yet. Is that movie even out? Anyway, she's sophisticated but definitely playful, making her a super fun character for a variety of... interesting scenarios.

Phew, I think that'll do for now. I was going to do more but the problem that I consistently bump into when doing these story polls is that it's hard to pick characters who are, well, equal in popularity. Like I could throw in some wildcard options but they're probably not going to win when they're up against the likes of Wolf and Diane, so, what'd be the point? Of course there's other characters I could throw in, but a lot of the most popular characters in the fandom are canine, so when I was drafting the list out initially it was like, ten canines and I don't wanna do a whole poll full of canines.

With this in mind, I think in October I'll do a poll where I pitch a few more unpopular characters that I like and want to do things, but hey, that's in October.

Poll will end on the 20th of September, which is when I'll also be posting the follow up poll! The poll is multiple choice, so you can vote for as many characters as you like! Just don't vote for all of them at once, otherwise you might as well not bother voting at all.
